Original Famous Amos Cookies
Ingredients

½ pound unsalted butter, softened

¾ cup light brown sugar, packed

¾ cups granualted sugar

1 teaspoon baking soda
-
½ teaspoon salt
-
2¼ cups All-Purpose flour

4 ounces pecans, chopped
-
18 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chip morsels

1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
2 large eggs

Directions
-
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat butter, both sugars, vanilla, eggs, baking soda and salt in large mixing bowl.

Combine the flour gradually. Stir in pecans and morsels.

Take tablespoons of batter and drop onto ungreased baking sheet.

Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.

Let stand for 2 minutes; remove to wire rack and cool completely.
