Easy Hot Wings

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds chicken wings, flats only

  • 2 tablespoons LAWHORN Seasoning

  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 1 cup Louisiana Hot Sauce

  • 4 tablespoons margarine, melted

  • 4 tablespoon honey

  • 3 quarts canola oil

Directions

  1. Sprinkle seasonings generously over chicken; stir to mix well. 

  2. Heat oil to 300º. 

  3. Drop wings into hot oil, a little at a time;

  4. Cook 10-12 minutes or until done; drain chicken on flat pan on paper towels.  

  5. In a small saucepan, mix together hot sauce, butter and honey; heat on medium-low; set aside.

  6. Place a few wings in a large bowl.  Pour sauce mixture over chicken; stir to coat the wings evenly.

  7. Remove wings from bowl and place on platter. 

  8. Repeat sauce steps with the remaining wings.  Serve with celery and ranch dressing.
