
Salmon Patties
Ingredients

1 pound salmon fillet, cooked

3 tablespoons butter, divided

3 tablespoons butter, melted

½ red onion, chopped

2 stalks celery, chopped, optional

¼ cup green bell pepper

¼ cup yellow bell pepper

3 teaspoons hot sauce

2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce

1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning

3 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 large egg, beaten

1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, crumble the salmon using a fork; set aside.

In a saucepan, 3 tablespoons of melt butter. Add vegetables, hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce, cook on medium until vegetables are tender; pour in bowl to cool.

Combine vegetables with salmon; stir to mix well. Add egg, mayo and ½ cup of breadcrumbs to the salmon mixture, stirring gently. Form salmon mixture into 8 patties.

Pour the remaining breadcrumbs onto a plate, coat the patties on both sides; brush the top of patties with remaining melted butter.

Bake on flat pan for 30 minutes until golden brown; turning the patties over at least once.
