Barbecue Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef

  • ¾ cups plain breadcrumbs

  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • ½ cup onions, chopped

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 1 bottle barbecue sauce (Kraft)

Directions

  1. Heat oil in large skillet.

  2. Combine all ingredients except barbecue sauce in bowl; mix well.

  3. Shape into 1-inch balls.

  4. Pour barbecue sauce in a large pot; add meatballs and cook on simmer for 30 minutes until meatballs are tender.

  5. When meatballs are done, serve on a platter.
