
Chili Cheese Fries
Ingredients
Chili Fries:

2 pound bag of crinkle cut fries (thaw fries before cooking)

3 quarts canola oil

2 teaspoon seasoning salt

PAM spray
-
2 pounds lean ground beef
-
Two 1-ounce package of taco seasoning mix (mild)

1 ½ cup water
Topping:
-
1 large tomato, chopped
-
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated

4 green onions, chopped
-
8 ounces sour cream

Directions

Pour oil in a deep fryer or a large stockpot; heat to 350 degrees.

Cook fries in hot oil, a little at a time, 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towel and sprinkle seasoning on fries. Cook remaining fries.

Spray PAM in a large skillet; cook ground beef until done; drain and return skillet to stove.

Add taco mix and water to beef; stir to mix well. Bring to a boil, simmer and cook 10 minutes, stirring frequently.

Remove from stove and set aside

Serve some fries on a plate; add beef mixture. Sprinkle cheese on top of fries; let cheese melt.

Add tomatoes, green onions and top with sour cream.
