Shrimp Cocktail

Ingredients

Shrimp:

  • 3 quarts water

  • 5 whole peppercorns

  • 3 tablespoons OLD BAY Seasoning

  • 1 lemon, sliced

  • 1 bay leaf

  • 3 pounds fresh large shrimp, peeled & deveined (tails on)

Sauce:

  • 1 cup chili sauce

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish

  • 4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • Dash cayenne pepper

Directions

Shrimp:

  1. Combine water, peppercorns, old bay seasoning, half of the lemon and the bay leaf. Bring liquid to a boil.

  2. Add shrimp and cook 5 minutes until shrimp turns pink.

  3. Drain shrimp and rinse with cold water to cool; pour shrimp in bowl and set in refrigerator.

Cocktail Sauce:

  1. Combine all ingredients into a small bowl; stir to mix well.

  2. Refrigerate to keep cool.
