Skillet Zucchini & Yellow Squash

Ingredients

  • 5 yellow squash, sliced

  • 5 zucchini, sliced

  • 1 large onions, sliced

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 2 teaspoon salt  

  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper 

Directions

  1. Wash zucchini and squash; drain in colander. 

  2. Melt butter in large skillet; add bacon grease and let heat up.

  3. Add squash and zucchini to heat butter mixture. 

  4. Season well with salt and pepper; stir well, cook on medium heat for 20-25 minutes;

  5. add onions and continue stirring often. 

  6. Cover and cook until vegetables are tender.
