French Toast

Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs

  • 2 ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1 cup whole milk or heavy cream

  • 6 slices of Brioche

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • ½ cup maple syrup

  • powdered sugar for dusting

  • ½ cup fresh blueberries or strawberries

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla and cinnamon; stir in milk/cream.

  2. Pour the milk mixture into a separate bowl; place slices of bread into the mixture; turn over to coat both sides.

  3. Coat griddle with butter; let melt. Cook bread on medium heat until browned on both sides.

  4. Place on plate and add a slice of butter and drizzle with syrup; sprinkle powdered sugar.

  5. Top French toast with a fresh berries.
