
Easy Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients

½ cup Crisco shortening

1 cup peanut butter

1-1/2 cups light brown sugar, packed

3 tablespoons granulated sugar

3 tablespoons whole milk

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 large egg, beaten

1¾ cups All-Purpose flour

¾ teaspoon salt

¾ teaspoons baking soda

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°. Place sheets of foil down for cooling cookies.

Combine shortening, peanut butter, both sugars, milk and vanilla in large bowl.

Beat at medium speed in mixer bowl until well blended. Add egg; beat just until blended.

Combine flour, salt and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture at low speed. Mix until blended.

Drop by heaping teaspoon 2 inches apart onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Flatten slightly in crisscross pattern with fork. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until cookie starts to brown.

Remove from oven and let cool 2 minutes, then place cookies on a wire rack to cool completely.
