Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies
Ingredients

1¼ cups All-Purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 cup unsalted butter, soften

¾ cup light brown sugar, packed

¾ cups granulated sugar
-
2 large eggs
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
1 tablespoon orange zest
-
3 cups quick oats
-
12 ounces butterscotch morsels

Directions

Preheat oven to 375°. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; set aside.

In large mixer bowl, beat butter, both sugars, eggs, orange zest and vanilla until creamy.

Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in oats and morsels.

Drop by tablespoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 7-8 minutes for chewy cookies; 9-10 minutes for crispy cookies. Remove from oven and let cool.
