Quick Hotdog Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 4 tablespoons of chili powder

  • 2 tablespoons ketchup

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • ¼ cup water

  • 6 beef hotdogs

  • 1 cup water

  • 6 hotdog rolls

Hotdog Toppings:

  • coleslaw

  • mustard

  • ketchup

  • onions, chopped

  • cheese

  • relish, optional 

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, add the hotdogs and 1 cup water; cover and bring to a boil.

  2. Cook hotdogs on medium heat for 10-12 minutes until tender.

  3. Remove hotdogs from skillet; set aside.

  4. In a separate skillet, cook ground beef thoroughly making sure to chop up while cooking; do not drain grease.

  5. Add onions, chili powder, ketchup and water; stir well.

  6. Reduce temperature to low. Cook 10 minutes, stirring often. Serve on hotdogs.
