Crock-Pot Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 6-14 ounce cans Whole Green Beans

  • 2 smoked turkey wings

  • 3 quarts chicken broth (low sodium)

  • 2 teaspoon seasoning salt

  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

OPTIONAL: Fry 2 slices of bacon until crisp; drain on paper towel and chop. Sprinkle on top of green beans.

Directions

  1. Open green beans and drain liquid; set aside.

  2. Place the smoked wings in the bottom of the slow cooker; pour the green beans on top of wings.  

  3. Fill the slow cooker with chicken broth until the beans are covered.  

  4. Add remaining ingredients (including bacon grease); cover and set temperature control to HIGH and cook for 8 hours.
