
Italian Sub Sandwich
Ingredients

1 pound fresh French bread

4 tablespoons butter

4 large lettuce leaves

9 slices of deli salami

9 slices of deli pepperoni

2 beef tomatoes, thinly sliced

¼ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon dried oregano

6 slices of deli cheddar
-
6 slices of deli baby Swiss cheese

8 ounces deli ham, thinly sliced

1 medium red onion, thinly sliced

1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced

3 tablespoons Italian dressing

3 tablespoons horseradish mustard
Directions

Slice bread in half horizontally; spread bottom half with butter.

Place layer of lettuce leaves, salami and pepperoni.

Place tomato on buttered half of bread; season with salt, pepper and oregano.

Layer cheeses, ham, onions and bell peppers slices atop the tomatoes.

Add Italian dressing over meat and vegetables.

Spread top half of bread with horseradish mustard and place on top.

Secure with toothpicks and cut into 6 equal sections.
