
Ground Turkey Burger
Ingredients

1 pound lean ground turkey

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon poultry seasoning

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

½ medium onion, diced

4 burger buns, buttered & split

4 lettuce leaves
-
4 tomato slices
-
butter for spreading on the buns

mayo for spreading

Directions

In mixing bowl combine turkey, salt and pepper; mix thoroughly. Form into 4 patties ¼-inch thick and 3½-inch in diameter.

Pour flour in shallow pan and milk into a small bowl. Dredge patties in flour, then dip in milk. Dredge again in flour.

Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat and place patties in pan with spatula making sure not to crowd them.

Cook on first side 4-5 minutes; turn over and cook the other side for 2-3 minutes. DO NOT press burgers with spatula, this will cause dryness.

When patties are done, layer patties on the bottom half of bun, top with lettuce and tomato slice. Spread mayo on the other half of bun.
