Candy Bar Brownies

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, room temperature        

  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

  • 2 cup granulated sugar            

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder

  • 4 large eggs, room temperature        

  • 4 Butterfinger bars, chopped

  • 1½ cups All-Purpose flour

  • 3 HERSHEY’S milk chocolate bars, chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Melt butter in large saucepan over medium heat.  Stir in sugar; add eggs and beat well. 

  3. Combine flour and next 3 ingredients; stir into sugar mixture. 

  4. Fold in Butterfinger bars.  Spoon into a greased and floured 13x9-inch pan; sprinkle with milk chocolate bars. 

  5. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes; cool completely and cut into bars.  

Note:

Line lightly greased baking pan with foil before spreading batter in pan to bake.  Easy Removal and Cutting-lift foil with uncut baked brownies out of pan; then peel; back foil and brownies will be easy to cut.
