Chicken & Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 bag rice, cooked

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, chopped 

  • 10-3⁄4 ounce cream of mushroom soup

  • 1 teaspoon salt 

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1⁄2 cup sour cream

  • 1⁄2 cup whole milk

  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 

  2. Spread rice in a buttered, shallow 1-1⁄2 quart baking dish; top with chicken.

  3. Combine soup, sour cream, milk, and half of the cheese.

  4. Add salt and pepper; stir to combine, pour over chicken. 

  5. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven; sprinkle with remaining cheese.
