Juicy Homemade Burgers

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 1 package Lipton Soup Mix

  • salt & black pepper to taste

  • 4 hamburger buns*

  • 4 slices cheddar

BURGER TOPPINGS:

lettuce, tomato, sliced red onions

*NOTE: the hamburger bun can be sesame seed or plain

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to broil, 425 degrees.

  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion and egg; mix thoroughly.

  3. Combine soup mix and water in a small bowl; stir to mix well.

  4. Pour soup into burger mixture; gently stir to mix and let stand for 10 minutes.

  5. Shape burger into 6 patties; flatten burgers slightly while shaping them.

  6. Line a flat pan with aluminum foil; spray a rack with PAM and place on pan.

  7. Place burgers on rack; sprinkle seasonings on both sides of burger; broil for 8-10 minutes, until done.

  8. Serve on bun with lettuce, tomato, onion slices and other condiments.
