Pineapple Green Tea Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2½ cups boiling water                

  • 6 large LUZIANNE green tea bags

  • ½ cup sugar        

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed

  • 4½ cups fresh pineapples, chopped        

  • 4 large bananas peeled & sliced

  • 7½ cups crushed ice

Directions

  1. In a teapot, pour the boiling water over tea bags, cover and brew 5 minutes.  

  2. Remove the tea bags; stir in sugar and lemon juice, chill for 2 hours.  

  3. Combine tea mixture, pineapples, banana and crushed ice; process at high speed until well blended. 

  4. Serve in tall glasses.
