
Baked Apple Pie
Ingredients

15 ounces refrigerated pie crust (2)

¾ cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed

2 tablespoons All-Purpose flour

¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon

¼ teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

6 cups granny smith apples, sliced, cored & peeled

2 tablespoons sugar crystals, optional
Directions

Prepare the piecrust as directed on package for two pie-crust using 9-inch pan.

Heat oven to 425°. In a large bowl, combine all filling ingredients except lemon juice and apples; mix well.

Add lemon juice and apples; toss gently to mix; spoon into a crust lined pan.

Top with second crust; seal edges and flute. Cut slits or shapes in several places in top crust. Sprinkle sugar crystals on top of pie.

Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool on wire rack.
