Cooked Baby Spinach

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds fresh baby spinach

  • 1/2 small sweet onion, sliced

  • 1 garlic clove, diced

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • ¼ cup chicken broth

  • 1 teaspoons LAWHORNE’S Seasoning

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional

Directions

  1. Clean and drain spinach in a colander; set aside. 

  2. melt the butter in medium pot; add onions and cook for 2-3 minutes. 

  3. Pour in spinach; stir to mix with onions.

  4. Add spices and chicken broth. 

  5. Cover and cook spinach on low for 20 minutes until spinach is done.
